2007 News <<BackConstruction is underway on the 2.7-acre site that will be home to the $240 million Five-Star Four Seasons Hotel, Private Residences and Residence Club, in Vail's most desirable location, Vail Village, Colorado.The John Hardy Group has been providing their developer-client with the full platform of development services including due diligence, the development budgeting for all aspects of the project, construction estimating, project scheduling, and contractor selection, negotiation and contract administration. JHG is currently in a project management mode managing all 25 consultants in the very intricate design, coordinating cost estimates with the contractor, FF&E budgeting with the purchasing agent and hotel operator, working with local governmental officials for permitting, managing the demolition of existing structures and starting the construction process. JHG is also providing skilled Senior Project Managers on site to run the day-to-day construction process. And throughout this entire project, JHG is providing very detailed yet easy to understand Project Cost Accounting on budget, contracts, purchase orders, and disbursed funds as well as all future exposure items that may create additional risks. The developer is Black Diamond Resorts-Vail LLC. The Weitz Co. is the general contractor. The project will feature 120 hotel rooms, 16 residences and 19 time-shares.
