Tom Gaffney

Director of Operations

Tom is responsible for the design, review, and ongoing management of business practices, processes and systems to ensure maximum operating efficiency and ultimate achievement of JHG operating targets, including profitability and productivity goals. Additionally, participates indirectly on all projects at JHG with the Project Directors, Project Managers and Estimators in order to obtain successful coordination, implementation and completion of Owner’s goals, scope, budget and schedule.

Prior to joining JHG, Tom was the Partner/Senior Vice President of Prism Hotels in Dallas, Texas for a total of 15 years. Responsibilities included his involvement in evaluations for acquisitions, as well as analyzing, planning, budgeting, design and construction of new builds and renovations of numerous hotel/resort assignments. Tom was also an Owner/Partner of Gaffney & Associates, Dallas, TX, which provided project management and asset management/due diligence services to the hospitality industry. Early in his career, Tom was a project manager for the Criswell Development Company, Dallas, Texas and Harris Corporation located in Rhode Island and Texas.

Tom is a graduate of Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York with a Bachelor of Science, Engineering Management degree as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas, Dallas, Texas.
