From chain hotel to a one-of-a-kind property, The Anza (formerly operated as a Country Inn & Suites) was purchased by Channel West Group and Arris Investments LLC in July 2012. Just one year later, The Hardy Group reopened the property, leading development services on the project together with Atlanta-based CMMI, the architect and interior design firm of record.

Designed to be casual and sophisticated without being overly trendy, The Anza’s fresh design aesthetic blends the style of Los Angeles with the quaintness of Old Town Calabasas. The re-branding and re-design of the hotel touched every inch of the building’s interior and updated the exterior and pool area. In 2014, the San Fernando Valley Business Journal honored The Anza as an outstanding project that impacted the community.
