Abner Nerio

Abner joined The Hardy Group’s Los Angeles Office in 2023 with over five years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager and over seven years as a Project Engineer. He is a priority-orientated problem-solver, and team player. Abner has served as an Assistant Project Manager, Engineer Associate, and Project Engineer. He has worked for a variety of companies, including, McGuire Builders, Inc, Charles Pankow Builders, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, CalTrans, and Cuellar Electric. As of December 2023, Abner serves as the Project Director for the extensive renovations at the W Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA and Omni San Diego, San Diego, CA.

Abner has led, directed, and guided teams in the completion of multiple public and private construction projects in several industries, such as, hospitality, renovation, transportation, and maintenance facilities. Abner excels at executing projects, problem solving, technology, and methodology in a dynamic and timely manner. He is also an expert in reviewing construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to meet schedules and design requirements. In his recent role as Assistant Project Manager for McGuire Builders, Inc, Abner accomplished the re-imagined design of a highly challenging, luxury, historic hotel with 148 rooms.

Abner received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and graduated with honors from California State University – Los Angeles, CA.
