Senior Project Director

David joined The Hardy Group in 2026 as a Senior Project Director in the Hawaii office, bringing more than 30 years of project management experience. He is recognized for his strong interpersonal skills, deep technical background, and ability to lead projects with clarity and precision.

As a Senior Project Director, his responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for clients; establishing the project vision and goals; and guiding the scope and design development while managing budgets, schedules, and capital planning through HARDY’s proprietary Capital Intelligence methodology. He provides senior-level leadership throughout the contract administration, change management, and cost control process as well as overseeing the internal and external project teams through all phases of execution.

A selection of David’s recent projects includes:

  • Renovation of the Kilohana Meeting Room and the Hale Kai restaurant​ at the Fairmont Orchid in Kohala Coast, HI
  • Renovation and conversion of the historic Crown Building into Aman New York, including 20 residences, 85 hotel rooms, a 25,000-square-foot spa, jazz club, and restaurants in New York, NY
  • Restoration of The Raleigh for Rosewood Hotels, including 42 residences, 60 hotel suites, and modernization of the historic pool in Miami Beach, FL
  • Development of The Barcadere Marina, including a 150-slip marina, 15,000-square-foot boat showroom with full-service facilities, and the Georgetown Yacht Club restaurant in Grand Cayman

Prior to joining HARDY, David held the title of Senior Project Manager at AHL where his responsibilities included the oversight and coordination of design and construction teams through all project phases. His other past roles include Director of Project Management at Ransom Everglades School, Senior Project Manager at Perkins+Will, Studio Head at CANY, and Director of Real Estate Development at SHVO.

David earned his degree from the Pratt Institute. He is also an Associate of the AIA and Construction Specifications Institute member, seeking LEED certification along with NCARB licensure in New York State at this time.
