Ian joined The Hardy Group in 2026 as a Senior Project Manager, bringing more than 20 years of experience in project management, construction management, and owner’s representation. Having previously been part of The Hardy Group from 2015 to 2019, he returns with expanded expertise leading large-scale hospitality and resort projects across Hawaii and other diverse locations.
Ian is a results-driven professional who combines construction leadership, operational insight, and stakeholder management to successfully oversee complex projects from planning through completion. He has a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams, overseeing large-scale budgets, navigating permitting and regulatory requirements, and delivering projects in environmentally and culturally sensitive settings while meeting client goals and project objectives.
A selection of Ian’s recent work includes:
- Leading the $350MM budget disaster remediation, including design & pre-construction, of an iconic Hawaiian resort
- Senior Project Manager and Owner’s Representative for all Wyndham Destinations timeshare renovations, developments, and new construction in the Hawaii region, consisting of 18 individual resorts, 4 sales offices, and 4 office locations
- Oversight of the creation and implementation of both PIP and PCA assessments for multiple properties across Hawaii
- Area Program Manager of the Colony Northstar Renovation Program, including extensive updates across the portfolio
- Renovation at Queen Kapiʻolani Hotel Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, HI
Prior to rejoining HARDY, Ian held various positions, including Director of Construction, Senior Project Manager & Owner’s Representative, Resort Manager & Cruise Director, and General Contractor. He has worked for Travel+ Leisure and Reef Capital Partners.
Ian received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Portsmouth University in the United Kingdom.
