Nick Opyd

Nick joined The Hardy Group in October 2018 as a Project Director in the Atlanta office. His hard work and dedication to HARDY projects was acknowledged in February 2022, promoting him to Senior Project Director.

Since joining The Hardy Group, Nick has been responsible for the project management of The Ritz Carlton, Naples, Florida Beach & Golf Resort, Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach, 1 Hotel South Beach, Atlanta Hyatt Regency, and The Indianapolis Motto. He has a background supervising and performing work in the construction industry; managing multiple projects simultaneously; and acting as supervisor, coach, and leader for project teams.

Prior to HARDY, Nick was employed with Shawmut Design and Construction in Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Florida area as a superintendent, defining project scope, identifying, and allocating resources, establishing schedules; and monitoring the progress of all.  He was also employed with Summit Design and Build, LLC in Chicago, Illinois as a supervisor providing the same services as he did with Shawmut.

Nick attended The University of Kansas as a scholarship recipient and majored in Accounting and Finance.  He also has completed an OSHA 30-hour Construction Course.
