Parker Matson

In October 2021, Parker joined The Hardy Group as a Project Manager. After dedicating two years to the Ritz-Carlton, Naples, he became an integral part of the team that successfully executed a significant transformation at the resort in 2023. This project included the construction of the new Vanderbilt Tower, featuring an expansive 4,000 square-foot Club Lounge and over 70 club-level guestrooms. Additionally, the resort’s makeover involved the creation of a new lobby and three dining experiences. The outdoor spaces were also revamped, introducing new pools, bungalows, and cabanas, along with extensive redesigns of all 474 guest rooms and suites. Following the completion of this project, Parker joined the team focused on the Highgate Portfolio, a program encompassing over 140 hotels.

Prior to HARDY, Parker served as a Project Engineer, Superintendent, and Assistant Project Manager at GATES Construction. He responsible for preconstruction, onsite supervision, and project management. Parker is a certified General Contractor in the State of Florida and owned his own business performing all duties to operate a general contracting company; bid projects, write contracts, hire, and manage sub-contractors, jobsite supervision, financial management, project management and more. Additionally, He worked on the following Florida projects; Quail West Country Club, St. John The Evangelist Life Activity Center, All Seasons – Assisted Living Facility, Ritz-Carlton, Naples, Sapphire Lakes Pineapple House – Assisted Living Facility, The Dunes Clubhouse, Herons Glen Fitness Center and Liana ALF.

Parker graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University, in Fort Myers, FL. In his free time he is involved with Take Stock In Children Organization; mentoring local students through their journey from elementary school to high school graduation. Additionally, he is a certified General Contractor in the State of Florida.
