Regis Smith

In 2024, Regis became a member of The Hardy Group, bringing more than 35 years of comprehensive experience across various facets of the construction industry and possessing a proficient understanding of all trades. Throughout his career, Regis has managed and coordinated trades and vendors towards both a time & cost savings result. He excels at having a sensitivity to design integrity and budget and schedule expertise that leads to project realization while maintaining high-quality client expectations. As of January 2024, Regis is the Senior Project Manager on the extensive renovation of the Hyatt Regency Greenwich.

Regis has served in a variety of roles holding the title of Senior Project Manager, Project Manager/Owners Rep, Director, Construction Operations, Project Superintendent, and Owner/General Contractor. He has worked for Atlantis Resort, Discovery Land Company, The Moon Group, Hirsch Construction Corp, Autun Contractors, Casella Construction, RES Construction, and Ralph Lauren. Some of his noteworthy hospitality and commercial projects managed include: Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas; The Asbury Hotel in Asbury, NJ; Meyer Davis Designed Hotel in New York, NY; and Mah Ze Dahr Bakery, Flagship Store in New York, NY.

Regis attended Hunter College in New York City with a focus on Liberal Arts Studies. Additionally, he is a NYS Licensed Construction Superintendent and received 62hr OSHA Site Safety training and 4hr supported scaffold.
