Rex Morgan

Rex joined The Hardy Group in 2018 as an experienced Project Manager with 20 years of on-site project management work. He has extensive experience in the following sectors: office/warehouse, tenant buildout’s, medical facilities including dental, chiropractor and eyecare, VA medical facilities, federal government spaces, military buildings, medical manufacturing, and hospitality. His responsibilities have included qualifying general contractors, defining scopes, compiling milestone schedules, negotiating hard bids, and reviewing pay apps, change orders, close out documents and more. Since joining Hardy, Rex has been the Senior Project Manager for a 76-hotel capital expenditure program that involved the renovation of 61 Marriott and 15 Hilton select serve assets located across the U.S. within a 30-month window. Additionally, he completed a resort project which had the largest guest room renovation to date for that client.

Rex utilizes his knowledge of Auto-Cad today on HARDY projects, if the need arises for details and overlaying to locate new plumbing and mechanical to minimize exploration cutting. As of December 2023, he is currently the Senior Project Manager at Omni San Diego.

Prior to joining The Hardy Group, Rex received an Associates Degree in Architecture and spent eight years with an Architecture firm in Minnesota working on two large multi-use developments, including Senior Housing, Multi Unit Residential Housing and Retail Spaces. Rex also was the Project Manager / Consultant for La Quinta Management LLC located in Irving TX; a Senior Field Supervisor / Project Manager for Schoenfelder Renovations in Minnetonka, MN, and a Project Manager for both Versacon Construction and Commercial Construction, Inc both located in Minnesota.
