Rocky joined The Hardy Group in 1997. Prior to his promotion in 2014 to Director of Operations, he was one of HARDY’s most experienced Senior Project Directors. Utilizing this knowledge and working hand in hand with John Hardy, Rocky has created many of HARDY’s processes and systems.

As the Director of Operations, Rocky is responsible for the overall program management, leadership, and HARDY performance, including, but not limited to; leading negotiations, budgeting, establishing goals, developing assignments, setting schedules, putting efficient workflows in place to maximize the productivity and performance, and managing HARDY staff. When necessary, Rocky has acted as a Senior Project Director on various projects, offering his invaluable insight and experience in Development and Construction Management.

Rocky has worked on over 100 projects while at The Hardy Group, spanning The United States, Hawaii and the Caribbean, such as the Cabot development, 375 acres in St. Lucia, an 18-hole golf course and stunning collection of residences ranging from hillside town homes to condos, to single-family homes; Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club, an extensive redevelopment of all guestrooms, public areas, and exterior pool. Development of the site to create a new activity park, water park, tennis and pickleball complex, mini gold, amphitheater, and F&B outlets; InterContinental San Juan Resort & Casino, an extensive renovation of 389 guestrooms and suites, and a complete re-imagination of the public spaces; The Fairmont El San Juan Hotel; The Regency Club Hotel in Puerto Rico, The Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino and more.

Prior to joining HARDY, Rocky worked at the following companies: The Barclay Group, LCI Construction and Badger Underground Construction, of Arizona; Nico Construction Company in Atlanta, Georgia and Boca Hamptons Management of Palm Beach, Florida. Rocky has a diverse background, including holding the positions of Project Superintendent, Project Manager, Estimator, Senior Project Manager, Branch Construction Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager and Senior Project Director. He has experience working on Single and Multi-Family Housing, Retail, Industrial, Governmental, Commercial, Hotels, Resorts and Convention Centers.

Rocky has been a certified Building Contractor in several states, has completed Construction Management studies and attended the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, South Carolina.
