Yanela Arroyo

Yanela joined The Hardy Group’s New York office in 2018 with 14 years of experience in engineering and construction management. Yanela is a dynamic, results-driven professional committed to cultivating, implementing, and monitoring innovative project management solutions and strategic workflow processes. Since joining HARDY as a Senior Project Manager, she has been involved in the renovation of The Conrad New York Midtown Hotel, New York City; the Doubletree Penn Station Hotel, Newark, New Jersey; and the Asset Preservation Services for the Hyatt Centric, Conrad Midtown, The Edition and The Gregory, all located in New York as well as The Edition in Miami, Florida.

In addition to her work with HARDY, Yanela, during her employment at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge as the Director of Engineering, was instrumental in obtaining the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification as well as being presented with the Environmental Protection Award by the Hotel Association of New York City (HANYC). Yanela was the Director of Engineering for the Hyatt Regency Jersey City, Supervisor for Engineering at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich, Old Greenwich, CT, served on the opening team for Hyatt corporate and was part of their Diversity and Inclusion Council.

Yanela is working towards her certificate in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), was Fire Safety Director trained and has B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Technology from New York Institute Of Technology – New York, NY.
