The project, which commenced in August 2022, has touched every facet of the property, from the front entrance to the lobby, 323 guestrooms, balconies, and an expanded courtyard. It marks the resort’s first comprehensive renovation since March 2015, when the pool complex underwent a significant update, enhancing the family-friendly amenities.

Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the Lowcountry region, the design ethos seamlessly blends elements of local architecture with a touch of contemporary flair. One of the standout features is the incorporation of the trademark haint blue porch ceilings, adding a touch of Southern charm and mystique to the exterior. Inside, the guestrooms have been meticulously crafted to evoke the serene beauty of the Carolina coastline. Ocean blue and green hues dominate the palette, reflecting the colors of the sea and the lush vegetation of the Lowcountry.
