Alongside the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort and Ritz-Carlton, Naples, we remediated and restored the Marriott New Orleans following damage from Hurricane Irma in 2017, along with 12 Florida properties owned by Host Hotels & Resorts; Hawks Landing, Orlando; Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, Miami; Tampa Airport Marriott; The Don Cesar, St. Pete Beach; Orlando World Center Marriott; The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island; Tiburon Golf Club, Naples; The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples and YVE Hotel, Miami.

Will Sneed
Project Executive

Will joined The Hardy Group in 2005 with over 40 years of industry experience including over 30 years of experience in Disaster Recovery Projects, such as, natural disasters, inclusive of; hurricanes, tornados, and floods. Will has successfully managed the recovery of properties following 22 hurricanes and specializing in creating and executing disaster recovery plans for clients.

Will has overseen over $650 million renovations at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort including writing an extensive Disaster Recovery Plan in 2008, and updating it after a major expansion in 2023. Multiple resiliency projects were undertaken to fortify and elevate critical infrastructure components to minimize the recovery time. Will has successfully managed remediation and restoration at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort following Hurricane Wilma in 2005, Hurricane Irma in 2017, and Hurricane Ian in 2022. Read More

Nathan Mickelson

Nate became a part of The Hardy Group in 2012, assuming the role of an accomplished Project Director. While with HARDY, he demonstrated his expertise by effectively overseeing properties requiring Disaster Recovery initiatives. In a significant milestone in 2017, Nate took charge of an extensive portfolio comprising 12 properties affected by Hurricane Irma, efficiently managing their remediation and restoration of more than $55M.

Recently, while spearheading a comprehensive renovation project at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples, the property was hit by Hurricane Ian. Remediating and restoring the property was a remarkable endeavor involving the coordination and execution for rebuilding the entire lower level of the property inclusive of all the building’s critical systems and an estimated value of $275M. This assignment also included the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort + Spa restoration for $27M. Read More
